Warner Bros. has finally rolled out a high definition presentation worthy of the armored, gadget-equipped home entertainment system at Wayne Manor.  Bruce Wayne will be letting crime run wild tonight.  His plans involve sipping on fernet branca with Alfred and Selina Kyle, followed by some snuggle time on the couch to bask in Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.

Batman's BFF on the Gotham police force is getting his own origin story, but it's not a cinematic reboot. 

Instead, James Gordon will be the center of Gotham, a new live action television series that's headed to Fox.

David S. Goyer is currently busy writing Batman vs. Superman so that the team-up sequel can meet its July 2015 release date, but the screenwriter is taking a moment to explain one of the most controversial aspects of Man of Steel.

Grant Gustin, best known for a recurring role on Glee, will be the latest actor to bring the Scarlet Speedster to the idiot box.

That actor has been chosen to play Barry Allen, aka The Flash, in several episodes the CW series Arrow throughout the upcoming second season, with producers hoping to spin off into a solo TV series for the zippiest superhero in the DC Comics stable.

Shemar Moore isn't interested in resting on his laurels.

Thanks to his role as Derek Morgan on the ABC series Criminal Minds, the former The Young and the Restless star has earned legions of new fans over the previous eight seasons. 

As the series enters its ninth season, though, Moore isn't just keeping an eye on the future, he's actively building towards it.  Moore is returning to features for this first time since 2005's Diary of a Mad Black Woman with his crowdfunded passion project The Bounce Back.  He's also jumping into the animation game as the voice of Cyborg in the upcoming DC Universe movie Justice League: War.

Moore is spearheading The Bounce Back as both star and executive producer.  The film centers Matthew Taylor, who pens a bestselling book an creates a whole philosophy as means of self-defense following the death of his first love.  In order to continue hiding his heartbreak, Taylor mounts a year-long speaking tour espousing the benefits of his system, which keeps him from experiencing such vulnerability ever again.  When he meets the beautiful and unpredictable Kristin Moreland, however, Tyler must renounce his book and his philosophy for a second chance at love.

In an IAR-exclusive interview with Managing Editor Jami Philbrick, Shemar Moore recently shared his enthusiasm for The Bounce Back, the process of using social media to secure funding for the romantic comedy-drama, and the project's current status.  He also joining the DC Universe as the voice of Cyborg in Justice League: War, and his fervent hope to play the superhero in a live-action Justice League movie.

The Man of Steel sequel is all set to be a reunion between director Zack Snyder and Larry Fong, his frequent cinematographer who sat out the Superman movie but will be behind the camera on Superman vs. Batman.

Let's get down to brass tacks: Neither composer Hans Zimmer nor actor Bryan Cranston are on board the Man of Steel sequel pitting Superman against Batman.

In Cranston's case, an overblown rumor has asserted that he'll play Lex Luthor in Superman vs. Batman, but the Breaking Bad star is clarifying that it's a bunch of hogwash.  Zimmer, meanwhile, is offering up some thoughts on whether or not he'll return as composer and Ben Affleck playing Bruce Wayne.

Let's hope the eleventh biggest state in the Union is big enough for DC's two heaviest hitters, because the Man of Steel sequel pitting Superman and Batman against each other is going to shoot in Michigan.

This November, you'll be able to shout "Release the World Engine" along with Michael Shannon, because Warner Bros. is bringing Superman's most action-packed cinematic adventure to Blu-ray and DVD.

The studio announced today that Man of Steel is set to hit 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack, 3D Limited Collector's Edition, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and two-disc DVD special edition on November 11th.  The cover art and special features details for both Blu-ray versions are now online and ready to view.

Mark Strong is an outstanding actor who is exceedingly good at playing villains.  And he's bald.

So naturally, rumors and baseless speculation have connected him to the role of Lex Luthor in Batman vs. Superman, the Man of Steel sequel that pits DC's two heaviest hitters against one another.

Strong himself has commented on the rumors in a way that suggests there may be some truth to the rumors after all.
